Blue Koshari by Chris Fragua

Chris Fragua, from the Pueblo of Jemez, was born in 1943. He was taught the art of using clay by his mother, Grace Fragua and his Grandmother Emilia.

Chris uses clay from the Pueblo of Jemez to create his unique and playful images.  When the weather permits he fires outdoors but uses a kiln during the winter months.

Chris' pottery has received a number of prestigious awards from institutions such as the Heard Museum.
